About Kate Broughton

I am Kate Broughton, a creative Video Editor and Producer based in the North of England with 15 years of experience in the broadcast and corporate industries. My favourite food is a margarita pizza and I drink at least 10 cups of Biscuit Brew (Yorkshire Tea) a day, if I am allowed. I do an amazing impression of Weasel from the hit 90's kids TV show, The Animals of Farthing Wood.
I collaborate with clients and brands to deliver video content that meets their specific needs. I have vast experience of creating and developing social media content for multiple platforms, that works for different audiences. I have worked with such incredible brands as Channel 4, Vinted, Balmain, NHS and Weber Grills.
I use the Adobe Creative Suite to edit video, create motion graphics and even record and mix professional voice overs (being a voice artist, as well!) I have applied my detailed knowledge of industry practices and processes to multiple projects in a variety of professional environments. I am well organised, adept at multitasking and always work efficiently to maintain a high standard of quality within my role.
I have a limitless, possibly unhealthy interest in cinema and TV. I also enjoy writing short stories and meet with a writing club on a monthly basis. I often go swimming or running, because it's important to move but I balance this out with a deep interest in baking. I have had an enthusiasm for photography since my late teens, and I can often be found taking street photos using my Fuji camera.
